Air Fryer Crescent Breakfast Ring Recipe Tips

  • Pre-cook the bacon: Ensures even cooking and reduces excess grease.
  • Seal the dough edges well: Prevents filling from leaking during air frying.
  • Use an egg wash: Brushing the ring creates a shiny, golden crust.
  • Avoid overcrowding the basket: Keeps the ring evenly cooked and crispy.
  • Customize fillings: Swap bacon for sausage, add veggies, or mix different cheeses.
  • Check for doneness: Cooking times vary by air fryer; look for puffed, golden dough.
  • Prep ahead: Assemble in advance for a quick brunch or breakfast gathering.

Storing Instructions

  • Room Temperature: Serve immediately for best flavor; can sit for up to 2 hours.
  • Refrigerator: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to restore crispiness.
  • Freezer: Assemble and freeze unbaked ring in plastic wrap and foil for up to 1 month. Cook directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to air fryer cooking time.
  • Avoid sogginess: Reheating in the air fryer keeps the pastry flaky; microwaving can make it soft.
