If you are looking for a rich, buttery, and amazing piece of loaf cake, which will go with any coffee, this is my favorite. I love the walnuts and ground cinnamon, and I think they give the bread a great flavor and texture. And of course, you can not go wrong with the Air Fryer baking it to perfection.

If you have not baked with the air fryer yet, it’s amazing. All of the baked goods come out to perfection. Light, airy, and absolutely delish, I call them bakery quality.

Air Fryer Cinnamon Walnut Pound Cake Recipe Tips

  • Do not over mix. If you over-mix a pound cake, you will release gluten which will make your pound cake dense.
  • You can use the same batter to make muffins.
  • Add in some other spices. I would suggest that you stick with the ground cinnamon theme and add ground nutmeg or ground allspice.
  • Add some other mix-ins, shredded coconut, and dried fruit will work well here.
  • For best results, use a mini loaf pan.

Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions

  • Storing: Keep the pound cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days to maintain moisture and freshness. Avoid leaving it exposed to air, which can make it dry out quickly.
  • Freezing: Wrap the cooled cake tightly in plastic wrap, then place in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator or for a few hours at room temperature before serving.
  • Reheating: Warm individual slices in the microwave for 15–20 seconds or in a 325°F oven for 5–7 minutes. This brings back the soft, moist texture without overcooking.

Air Fryer Cinnamon Walnut Pound Cake Recipe Faqs

Can I use a different nut instead of walnuts? Yes! Pecans or almonds work beautifully and add a slightly different flavor and crunch.

Do I have to use Greek yogurt? No, you can substitute with sour cream or plain yogurt to keep the cake moist and tender.

Can I make this cake without an air fryer? Absolutely. Bake in a 9-inch pan at 325°F for 35–40 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.

How should I store leftovers? Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.

Can I freeze the pound cake? Yes, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before slicing.

How do I know when the cake is done? Insert a toothpick into the center—if it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, it’s ready.

Can I add a glaze or frosting? Yes! A simple powdered sugar glaze or cream cheese frosting complements the cinnamon and walnuts perfectly.
