Ingredients Needed For PF Chang’s Pork Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients needed for PF Chang's Pork Dumplings Recipe on kitchen table.
  • Ground Chicken: You can also use lean ground turkey or ground pork. I would not recommend using ground beef, since it’s higher in fat, and will make your potstickers oily.
  • Napa Cabbage: Add some salt, which will help remove some of the moisture, so you don’t end up with soggy potstickers.
  • Mushrooms: Finely diced, either Portobello or button mushrooms.
  • Chives: Or green onions
  • Soy Sauce and Hoisin Sauce: You can also use gluten-free soy sauce or lower-sodium soy sauce.
  • Sriracha Sauce: Adds some great flavor to the dumplings.
  • Minced Garlic and Minced Ginger: For some added flavor.
  • Wonton Wrappers: Found in the produce department of any local American grocery store.

PF Chang’s Pork Dumplings Recipe Tips

  • You need the right ingredients. For the filling, you can use just about any type of meat or vegetables that you like. Just make sure that the filling is well-seasoned so that it will be flavorful and moist.
  • Shape the potstickers. To do this, Place a heaping teaspoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and then fold it over to form a triangle. Pinch the edges closed and then set the potsticker aside on a lightly floured surface. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  • Don’t crowd the basket. Make sure there is space between the air fryer pot stickers. This will allow them to cook properly.

Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions

  • Storing: Let the pork dumplings cool to room temperature and place into an airtight container. The dumplings can stay in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
  • Freezing: Want to make a double batch? This PF Chang’s Pork Dumplings Recipe freezes well. You can freeze either uncooked or cooked dumplings. Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet, and place into the freezer, until the dumplings are frozen solid. Remove and transfer to a freezer safe bag or freezer container. The dumplings can be frozen for up to 2 months.
  • Reheating: Reheat PF Chang’s Pork Dumplings in the air fryer, place in a single layer in the air fryer basket, and set the air fryer temperature to 350 degrees F, and set the cook time for 4-5 minutes. For a better texture, you can brush them lightly with water.
