How To Make Air Fryer Cherry Dessert Pizza
Oil your air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon with a fork until combined and crumbled. Set aside.
In a small bowl, stir together the powdered sugar and milk until mixed well and a thin icing consistency—Reserve for the last step.
Divide pizza dough in half and roll out on a lightly floured surface into two small rounds the size of your fryer basket and about ½ inch thick each.
Place the pizza crust dough into the air fryer basket.
Spread half the cherry pie filling evenly across the pizza round. Sprinkle the brown sugar butter mixture over the cherry filling. Set the air fryer to 320F 8-12 minutes, depending on your air fryer, until the pizza crust is fully cooked through.
Remove from the air fryer and repeat steps 4-6 with the remaining ingredients.
Allow the dessert pizzas to cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with the prepared icing. Slice and serve!
Pro Tips:
- This recipe will work in any air fryer, including the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex Plus, and other air fryer basket and oven models.
- I would recommend that you place a piece of parchment paper on the bottom of your air fryer so that you can lift it out. If you have trouble removing the pizza, use a spatula to remove it.
- Make sure that the bottom is cooked before removing it. The time will depend on what type of air fryer you own.
- Once the crust starts to get golden brown, remove it from the Air Fryer, you don’t want it over crispy.
- Wait for the Air Fryer Cherry Dessert Pizza to be slightly cooled before drizzling it with the icing. Otherwise, it will melt off.
How Long Will Cherry Pizza Keep?
This Air Fryer Cherry Dessert Pizza will last for about 2 to 3 days when kept in an airtight container at room temperature.
Place the leftover Cherry Dessert Pizza into an airtight container for any longer, and place it into the refrigerator, where it will last 3 to 4 days.
