What is Bubble Bread?

Bubble bread is a super easy recipe that you can make in under 10 minutes. It is an airy dough with bubbles that resemble the texture of bread, hence the name bubble bread! Bubble Bread is most commonly eaten as breakfast or brunch, but it can also be served alongside soup and salad for dinner. This dish pairs well with any meal because its versatility allows it to go with almost anything!

Today, I brushed the bread with a simple butter and herb mixture, but this would be amazing with a cinnamon and sugar mixture. It’s so good, and you will be wondering where it has been all of your life!

Pro Tips:

  • This recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. I have also cooked this up in the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, GoWise, Emeril Air Freyr, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and even the Mealthy Lid. The recipe will remain the same the cooking time will vary.
  • You can use frozen bread dough for this recipe, and it will work the same. The cooking time will be increased since you are starting with frozen dough.
  • For best results, use a thinner pan, but if you have any dough leftover, don’t stack the dough. Otherwise, it will not fully cook.
  • A single layer will cook up better than stacking the dough. Where you stack it, the dough will remain raw.
  • Continue to bake until all of the dough is fully cooked. If you find that the dough is raw in the middle still, cover the dough tightly with aluminum foil, and reduce the temperature to 300 degrees F, the air fryer setting, until the entire Air Fryer Parmesan and Herb Bubble Bread are cooked.

How To Store:

If you have any Air Fryer Parmesan and Herb Bubble Bread leftover, let it cool to room temperature. Then wrap your bread in either a plastic bag or an airtight container.

You can either store this bread at room temperature or in the refrigerator. This bubble bread will last about 2 to 3 days at room temperature. After that, the bread will start to dry out.

How To Freeze:

This Air Fryer Parmesan and Herb Bubble Bread will also freeze quite well, which makes for a perfect side dish any time.

To freeze, divide the bread into pieces and place it into a freezer bag or freezer-safe container. Place it into the freezer for up to two months.
