There is nothing more iconic from my own childhood than a traditional Air Fryer 7-Up Cake. I am pretty sure that my mother found the recipe in a newspaper or magazine advertisement.

If you are not familiar with this cake, it’s characterized and tastes light like a really moist cake, and obviously, the secret ingredient is a bottle of 7 up. What is really cool is to make this cake you only need 5 ingredients. It is a great and easy way to doctor up a yellow cake mix.

Now, I am a HUGE fan of Bundt cakes in the air fryer. I will tell you why you do not have to worry about the middle cooking, which is a prevalent problem when baking in the air fryer. So, everyone who is following me, I always recommend investing in a Bundt Cake Pan because once you make an air fryer cake, you will never go back to the oven.

How To Make Air Fryer 7-Up Cake

Vanilla Batter

In a large mixing bowl, mix the cake mix, soda, oil, eggs, and lemon pudding. Be sure to scrape the mixing bowl sides to get all of the cake mix well incorporated. Spray your Bundt Cake ban with cooking spray or non-stick cooking spray, and pour the batter into the prepared pan. SEt into the air fryer at 320 degrees F, air fryer setting for 20-25 minutes. Air fry it until the inserted toothpick comes out clean.

HOW TO STORE AIR FRYER BUNDT CAKE

So on this recipe, I always recommend refrigerating your leftover cake. I find it helps extend the shelf life of your cake. Otherwise, it will go bad sooner if left at room temperature.

It is fine to serve it at room temperature. You don’t want the cake to sit out for more than a few hours, then eat it up. Otherwise, you will want to toss it in the fridge.

CAN I MAKE THIS 7-UP BUNDT CAKE IN THE OVEN INSTEAD

Sometimes people get worried if a recipe will work or not. So if you are in doubt about the air fryer, go right ahead with the oven. Just preheat the oven to 350 F, and then pour the cake mixture into the pie pan.

Bake for around 30 minutes and check on the cake. If it is not done, then allow cooking longer. The way to know when your cake is made is by sticking a toothpick in the center and seeing if it comes out clean of wet batter.

HOW TO SERVE UP THIS BUNDT CAKE

  • Dust with powdered sugar
  • Drizzle on a little caramel, chocolate, etc
  • Slice your cake and then pair it with a big scoop of ice cream.
  • Fresh fruit to sprinkle on top.
