How To Make Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Pizza

Step One: Mix other granulated sugar, brown sugar, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, and butter in a medium-sized bowl. Mix until it’s combined.

Step Two: Layout the crescent sheet in the air fryer, either place it on a greased air fryer basket, a parchment-lined basket or use a silicone lined air fryer liner. Place the dough on top.
Step Three: Sprinkle the butter mixture on top, covering the dough. Set the air fryer temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set cook time for 10-12 minutes. Remove and let cool while you make the icing.

Step Four: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Drizzle the icing over the cinnamon sugar pizza. Cut with a pizza slicer.

Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Pizza Recipe Tips
- Use a pre-made crescent dough sheet: Saves time and ensures a flaky, buttery base.
- Even sugar distribution: Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly for consistent flavor in every bite.
- Butter carefully: Brush melted butter lightly to prevent sogginess while adding richness.
- Watch the air fryer closely: Cook just until golden to avoid over-browning.
- Optional glaze: Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for a sweet finishing touch.
- Serve warm: This pizza is best enjoyed right out of the air fryer.
- Custom toppings: Add a sprinkle of nuts or a few chocolate chips for extra indulgence.
Storing Instructions
- Room Temperature: Let the pizza cool completely, then store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1–2 days.
- Refrigerator: For longer storage, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
- Freezing: Wrap individual slices tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag. Freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat in the air fryer or oven until warmed through.

Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Pizza Recipe Faqs
What kind of dough should I use? You can use pre-made refrigerated pizza dough, canned crescent roll dough (pinched closed), or store-bought flatbread/Naan bread. Pizza dough will give you a fluffier crust, while Naan is faster and crispier.
How do I prevent the dough from bubbling too much? If using raw pizza dough, gently pierce the dough several times with a fork before adding the butter/cinnamon mixture. This prevents large air pockets from forming while it cooks.
How do I ensure the cinnamon sugar mixture sticks? Brush the dough with melted butter before sprinkling generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture. The melted butter acts as the adhesive and helps the sugar caramelize slightly.
Can I use different toppings? Yes! This recipe is highly customizable. Try drizzling cream cheese icing, adding chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts), or sprinkling dried fruit like raisins or cranberries on top after cooking.
