This is a really rich and delicious breakfast, yet it only takes a few ingredients to get a great french toast. The air fryer makes the bread light and crisp, while the strawberries are a great and healthy addition.
In a large mixing bowl, (large enough to soak the bread) mix the milk, egg, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Mix well.
Then cut the bread (I used Challah)
Soak the bread for about 5 minutes, and then place on a greased air fryer tray or basket.
Set the temperature to 400 degrees F. (or 390 F, if you air fryer only goes up that high) for 4 minutes. Then flip and do another 4 minutes.
Note: The actual cooking time for your french toast will depend on the thickness, the wattage of your air fryer and the degrees that you have it on. 390 vs 400. Please check and make sure that it's fully cooked.
Plate, serve and enjoy!
