They recently changed their vendor, when their old vendor was no longer to produce these fantastic frozen mac and cheese bites.

They are made with a blend of cheese, including Cheddar, Havarti, Swiss, Gouda, Cream Cheese, Monterey Jack, and Pecorino Romano. Then they are dipped into a panko breading, and when you put these excellent Trader Joe’s mac and cheese bites air fryer, they are amazing!

Spray your basket with cooking spray, or line your basket with either parchment paper or use an air fryer reusable silicone liner. Place your frozen macaroni and cheese balls into a single layer in your air fryer basket or tray, being careful not to crowd the basket.

How Long Do You Cook Mac And Cheese Bites In An Air Fryer?

Set the temperature to 400 degrees F, using the air fryer setting and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, or until the mac and cheese bites are fully cooked.

Pro Tips:

Frozen: For best results keep the frozen mac and cheese balls frozen. This way, they come out crispy.

Crowding: Do not crowd your air fryer basket. Allow plenty of space around the mac and cheese balls to help them crisp up.

Flipping or Shaking: Depending on what air fryer you own, you may need to flip or shake your basket during the cooking process. I usually shake a few times, this way the entire batch gets perfectly cooked.

Making These In An Air Fryer Oven: If you want to make these in an air fryer oven, pplace teh tray on the bottom layer, this wya the outsdie and insdie cook up perfectly.
