  • 1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels, canned or frozen and thawed
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced tomatoes, drained if using canned
  • 1/4 cup diced green chilies, or jalapeños, optional for extra heat
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions, or cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping
