Donuts are one of my favorite foods, could you tell? I have about every variety, and I even made homemade Air Fryer Glazed Donuts with yeast; although they took a few hours, these are my go-to. Easy and delicious.
So, enter my straightforward recipe, which is fantastic, and I will tell you, if you love a quick dessert, this is it, and if you have children, this is a great baking project for you to make with them.
How To Make These Into An Air Fryer Sufganiyot
If you are not familiar with Sufganlyot (Sugganiyah), holiday food is usually served around Hanukkah. Since it’s already topped with powdered sugar, you only need to add some melted butter on top, then coat them with powdered sugar, and you have yourself a great Holiday Treat.
Why Use Crescent Dough
Crescent dough is the perfect dough for all things air fryer. It’s light, it’s airy, and it air fries up in no time. And it’s good. When you add melted butter and powdered sugar, the taste becomes fantastic.

- Powdered Sugar
- Cooking Spray
How To Make Air Fryer Strawberry Donut Holes
Unroll the Crescent Rolls On A Non-stick surface. Place a teaspoon of strawberry jelly into each crescent roll.
Roll into a ball. Place on the air fryer rack and spray lightly with cooking spray—Air Fry for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting.
Remove from air fryer and roll in powdered sugar. Plate, serve, and enjoy!
TIPS FOR THE BEST AIR FRYER DONUTS
These are so easy to make, you probably don’t need any tips, but here are some questions that come up frequently.
- If you do not have the crescent dough, you can, of course, make your own. Or you can use biscuit dough, although they will be a bit heavier.
- Spray the air fryer basket, or use an air fryer reusable silicone liner, so the donuts do not stick, there is nothing worse than peeling donuts off the air fryer basket.
- Spread your donuts out it allows them to cook correctly.
- These donuts are best when served hot, as they cool, they lose the flavor.
