Why Use Crescent Dough

Crescent dough is the perfect dough for all things air fryer. It’s light, it’s airy, and it air fries up in no time. And it’s good. When you add melted butter and powdered sugar, the taste becomes fantastic.

TIPS FOR THE BEST AIR FRYER DONUTS

These are so easy to make, you probably don’t need any tips, but here are some questions that come up frequently.

  • If you do not have the crescent dough, you can, of course, make your own. Or you can use biscuit dough, although they will be a bit heavier.
  • Spray the air fryer basket, or use an air fryer reusable silicone liner, so the donuts do not stick, there is nothing worse than peeling donuts off the air fryer basket.
  • Spread your donuts out it allows them to cook correctly.
  • These donuts are best when served hot, as they cool, they lose the flavor.

Some Other Great Donut Fillings

You can change this recipe out for anything; here are some of my favorites,

  • Raspberry Jam
  • Apple Pie Filling
  • Vanilla Pudding
