My kids loved this breakfast, and I love making it for them. I love surprising them with something delicious that only I know took minutes to make.

The peanut butter is amazing in this recipe, perfectly roasted in, so even if you wanted plain homemade peanut butter donuts, you could omit the frosting.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Donut Holes

It should come as no surprise to anyone that my youngest son, Jason, is a HUGE Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup fan. It’s truly one of the few foods that I can give him, and he will eat them anytime.

So, when I was looking for something to do with the new mold I purchased at Williams Sonoma, I thought, why not Peanut Butter Donut Holes?

Mae with creamy peanut butter, and then iced with a homemade chocolate frosting and even more peanut butter chips on top. This is a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup lover’s dream, and it only takes minutes to cook up in the air fryer. Perfect.

How To Store Air Fryer Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Donut Holes

If you have any leftovers, cover them, and place them into the refrigerator. They will last for about 3 to 4 days.

After that, dispose of the donuts.

Chunky or Creamy Peanut Butter?

I would recommend using creamy peanut butter since you don’t really want to end up with chunks in your peanut butter donuts. But, if you want the texture, go right ahead and use your favorite chunky peanut butter.

Nut-Free Options:

If your family or a loved one has a peanut or nut allergy, you can easily swap this out for any nut-free peanut butter that you use. Some of my favorites are SunButter or WowButter.

Air Fryer Donut Hole Mold Used

While today, I used this mold from Williams Sonoma; this can easily be prepared in an egg bite mold that you can find on Amazon. The shape will be slightly different, but the cooking time and recipe will work the same.
