Air Fryer Pork Chops

HOW TO MAKE MOUTHWATERING AIR FRYER BREADED PORK CHOPS-Air Fryer Breaded Pork Chops are juicy, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. If you haven’t made your pork chops this way before, you simply must!

AIR FRYER BREADED PORK CHOPS

We all grew up eating breaded pork chops. My mother made these at least once a week in the oven while I was growing up. Today, I am showing you how to make Air Fryer Breaded Pork Chops.

Today,  we have air fryers; they do so well with making breaded pork chops. Today I wanted to take a few minutes and give you some tips on making the perfect breaded pork chops in the air fryer.

WHAT DO YOU SERVE WITH PORK CHOPS?

I usually serve them with some applesauce. I am old, but I am sure a few of you remember the old saying, pork chops, and applesauce.

However, there are so many other things that you can make with this dish that pairs perfectly with it! Like green beans (insert link), roasted carrots (insert link), or my mashed potatoes.

TIPS FOR MAKING AIR FRYER BREADED PORK CHOPS–

  • Choose a pork chop that is between 1 inch and 1.5 inches thick. If the pork chop is too thin, it will dry out in the air fryer.
  • I prefer pork chops with a bone in the air fryer since the bone tends to give you more flavor as you air fry them.
  • Season your pork chops with a quick salt and pepper before you season them.
  • Take your pork chops out and let them get room temperature for about 30 minutes before breading them.
  • After you air fry them, let them rest again for about 5-8 minutes, just to let the juices go to the middle.

Today, I am bringing you some Air Fryer Pork Chops,  one of the easiest and best recipes that I ever found, and done with my air fryer. My son Jason thought they were so juicy and delicious; he decided they were actually chicken. Because “they weren’t dried out like pork.”

I started by making my own Shake and Bake, which is incredibly easy and pairs well with this meal. If you have 3 minutes and want a great and easy meal, I would recommend making that instead of buying it from the store.

What Are The Best Chops For The Air Fryer?

Thicker ones do better in the air fryer than thinner ones. So, I usually opt for a pork chop that is between 1 inch to 2 inches thick.  I find out that they do not dry out as much as the thinner ones.

The actual time for your chops in the air fryer will really depend on how thick they are and what air fryer you own.

So, grab your trusty meat thermometer, and make sure the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.

How To Make Air Fryer Pork Chops

Coat the pork in Shake and Bake. (This is my homemade version)

Place the coated pork into your Air Fryer Basket; I sprayed mine with olive oil cooking spray.

Set the timer for 10 minutes at 360

How long do you cook a pork chop in an air fryer?

Start by placing the pork chops into the air fryer basket in a single layer and  making sure the pork chops do not overlap. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook your pork chops in batches.

You can tell when you are done cooking pork chops when they have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

How long do you air fry boneless pork chops?

The actual time for your air fryer boneless pork chops will depend on the thickness of your pork chops.

I recently cooked boneless pork chops and noticed that they took a lot shorter time to air fry than bone-in pork chops.  I air-fried 1 1/2 inch boneless pork chops in about 14 minutes.

Can I Air Fry Frozen Pork Chops?

Yes, although breading frozen pork chops for the air fryer is very difficult. You will be able to air fry frozen pork chops, but you will just be able to season them.

If you want to bread frozen pork chops, you will need to defrost or thaw them first.

How do you cook pork in an air fryer?

It would depend on what type of pork you are preparing in the air fryer. Here are some foolproof recipes for my different pork recipes-

  • Air Fryer Bacon
  • Air Freyr Pork Loin
  • Easy Air Fryer Breaded Pork Chops
  • Air Fryer Pork Belly

Try Pork shoulder steaks, they have more fat but much more juicier and more flavour.

Would be helpful if you would specify what temp the pork should be and alternate directions depending upon if chops are bone in or boneless.
