So, I made a decision to try and make more pantry items, rather than always buy them. I am trying to really focus on homemade food, and my mother used to make Homemade Shake and Bake, so I figured this would be a great place to start.

Oen of the easiest ways to make pork chops, in the oven or in the air fryer is to coat them with shake and bake. It’s the perfect dinner since you only need 2 items to make a meal (plus a side dish)

If you are not familiar with shake and bake. There are two parts that come in a regular package of shake and bake. The seasoning mix and a large plastic bag. The instructions could not be easier, you simply pour the seasoning mix into the plastic bag. Then you add you piece of meat, usually pork, and hold the bag on the seam, and shake. You end up with perfectly coated pork chops.

The recipe below will make about 3 or 4 boxes worth of the store-bought item.  So, I usually only pour about a cup of it into a large plastic bag and keep the rest in an airtight container. It should last for about a month or so.
