What You Need To Make Pecan Pie In The Air Fryer
- Pie Dough: You can either use homemade pie dough or store-bought.
- Butter: Use unsalted room-temperature butter.
- Corn Syrup: I used light corn syrup, also called golden syrup. This will give the pecan pie the stickiness that it’s known for.
- Egg: Use a large egg that is lightly beaten
- Pure Vanilla Extract: For This recipe, use pure vanilla extract. It will add so much flavor.
- All-Purpose Flour: If you want to make this pecan pie, you can substitute gluten-free all-purpose flour. I recommend using King Arthur’s Flour.
- Baking Powder: Make sure that your baking powder is fresh.
- Pecans: Use fresh pecans!
How To Make Homemade Pecan Pie
Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 325˚ degrees F. Roll out pie crust, then cut out circles to fit inside each mini tin. Blind bake pie crusts for 4-5 minutes until slightly golden.
Step Two: In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, golden/ corn syrup, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla essence until well combined. Sift in flour and baking soda and stir until smooth.
Step Three: Place your pecans into the cooked crust.
Step Four: Pour the corn syrup mixture on the pecans, and place them back into the air fryer. Set the temperature to 325 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set cook time for 5- 8 minutes, until the pecan pie is set. When the pie is fully cooked, add a few pecans on top and some whipped cream or ice cream.
Pro Tips For Air Fryer Pecan Pie Recipe
- Tent Your Pie: Cover the crust with aluminum foil if your pie crust is getting too brown.
- Blind Bake: I blind bake this crust so that the bottom of your pecan pie would be crispy and cooked through. You can use pie weights, which will help keep the pie ready for the filling or shape it, so there is a hole in the middle.
- Pre-Made Pie Crust: You can also use pre-made pie dough to save yourself some time in a rush for the holidays. The recipe will work precisely the same.
- Pecans: Depending on how many pecans you want in your filling, feel free to add more. The amount is really up to you!
- Add-In: A traditional ingredient that I left out would be liquor. You can either use a couple of tablespoons of dark rum or a great teaspoon of bourbon!

How do you tell if the pecan pie is done? This is tricky, and you need to make sure that the pie is set. Press your finger in the center of the pie if it is solid. It should bounce back after you press it.
What Do I Serve Pecan Pie With? You can certainly serve it alone or add some ice cream or whipped cream on top.
Can I Use White Sugar Instead of Brown Sugar? Yes, I love brown sugar in this recipe because the molasses in the brown sugar makes this a traditional-tasting pecan pie, but you can replace white sugar for brown sugar for a less sweet pecan pie.
Can I use A Store-Bought Pie Crust? Yes, there is nothing better than a quick backing hack. You can use any store-bought pie crust. Today I used Pillsbury Pie Crust, and it worked terrifically!
Can You Make A Pecan Pie Without Corn Syrup? While corn syrup is the standard for making a pecan pie, you can use Golden Cane Syrup instead. This can be purchased, or you can make it homemade.

- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg, slightly beatern
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup pecans, diced
