What a great way to start my morning! I love homemade Air Fryer Strawberry Scones! They are so easy to make in the air fryer. Today, I made a smaller batch, which only made two perfect for my husband and me.
This recipe will give you a flaky, tender, and perfect scone; they have a strawberry in every bite! What can be better?
My family went to the farm this weekend, and I found a great batch of strawberries and knew I had to get them. I can always find something to make in my air fryer, with fresh fruit.
I know many of you get an air fryer to cook for yourself or yourself and one person, so I am trying to create recipes in smaller portions. If you are looking to make a larger batch, just double the recipe.

Here Are Some Common Questions Asked About Air Fryer Strawberry Scones
Can I Use Frozen Strawberries?
Yes, if you do not have fresh strawberries on hand, just simply toss them into the mixture frozen. If you thaw the strawberries, they will become too watery and they will cause your scone batter to not bind. If you do use frozen strawberries, simply thaw them enough to cut them into small pieces, then toss them into the batter.
Here Are Some Tips For Making Air Fryer Strawberry Scones
- Start with really cold butter, they will make the scones light and flaky.
- Once the dough is combined, stop mixing the batter. As you continue to stir and mix the batter, gluten will be released, causing your dough to become hard.
- Make sure that that scone pan is well greased, this way the batter comes out after you air fry them. I would recommend enter coating the scone pan with either olive oil spray or melted butter.
How Do You Store Scones?
If you do not finish the baked scones. Simply, let them cool to room temperature and then set in an airtight container. Place the scones on the counter, they will last about 1 to 2 days. Or if you want to extend the scones life, simply place the airtight container into the refrigerator, they should last about 5 to 6 days.
If you want to freeze the scones. Let them cool to room temperature and then individually wrap in saran wrap. Then place in the freezer, they should last about 4 to 6 weeks. When you want to use them, simply place the frozen scone onto the counter. They will take about 1 to 2 hours to defrost.
