Famous Dave’s Corn Muffins Recipe Tips

  • Use fine or medium-grind cornmeal for the soft, classic Famous Dave’s texture.
  • Don’t overmix the batter—stir just until combined to keep the muffins light and fluffy.
  • Grease the muffin tin well so the muffins release easily after cooking.
  • Fill each muffin cup about ¾ full for nicely domed tops.
  • Check for doneness early; air fryers vary and overcooking can dry them out.

Storing Instructions

  • Storing: Let muffins cool completely before storing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • Refrigerator: Refrigerate for up to 5 days for longer freshness.
  • Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes to refresh the texture.
  • Freezing: Freeze cooled muffins in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months; thaw and reheat before serving.
