How To Make Air Fryer Fruity Pebbles Donuts
Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, milk, sour cream, eggs, melted butter, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
Spray your donut pan with non-stick cooking spray. Then pour the prepared batter into the donut pan, filling about 2/3 way full. Set the pan into the air fryer basket for 10-12 minutes at 320 degrees F (air fryer setting). Allow the donuts to cool before icing them.
To make the icing: In a small bowl, mix the milk, powdered sugar, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Then dip the donuts into the icing and scatter the Fruity Pebbles on top.
Pro Tips:
- Let the batter chill for about 30 to 60 minutes before air frying; let the dough firm up.
- Make sure that you thoroughly coat the donut mold with cooking spray before filling the mold; this way, the donut will pop out.
- Cover the donut with sprinkles while the frosting is wet. Otherwise, the sprinkles will not stick.
- Store any uneaten donuts in an airtight container so they do not dry out.
