How To Make Air Fryer Bacon Weave
Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 minutes, or per your manufacturer’s instructions, called for preheating the air fryer you own.
Then carefully, line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Remove the bacon from the package and separate strips into two equal groups of strips. Usually, this is five or six slices apiece.
Use a pair of scissors, cut one set of the bacon strips in half.
Lay the longer strips out neatly in rows on a clean surface (or a piece of parchment paper that will fit inside the air fryer) and create a basket weave with the shorter bacon strips, interlacing the bacon strips, and alternating between slices.
Do this for all of the bacon until you have a complete bacon quilt. Place the bacon or the parchment paper into the air fryer basket and place the air fryer basket into the air fryer.
Cook for 14 to 16 minutes, at 375 degrees F, air fryer setting, or until the bacon is cooked but not overly crispy.
Carefully lift the air fryer basket and tilt it to remove the grease from the bottom of the basket.
Remove the air fryer basket from the air fryer and set it on a heatproof surface to cool for at least five minutes before removing the bacon.
Let the bacon cool slightly.
