Copycat Chili’s Steak Fajitas Recipe Tips

  • Marinate the Steak: For the best flavor, marinate the flank steak for at least 30 minutes. If you have time, marinate it for up to 4 hours to really enhance the flavor and tenderness.
  • Use High Heat: Air fry the steak and vegetables at high temperatures (400°F for the steak and 380°F for the veggies) to achieve that perfect charred, crispy exterior while keeping the inside juicy and tender.
  • Flip the Steak: Don’t forget to flip the steak halfway through cooking to ensure it cooks evenly on both sides. This will help you achieve a perfectly seared surface.
  • Customize Your Toppings: Feel free to adjust the toppings to your taste. Try adding salsa, jalapeños, or even a squeeze of fresh lime for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Serve Immediately: Steak fajitas are best enjoyed right after cooking while the steak and vegetables are still sizzling and hot. Serve with warm tortillas for the ultimate experience!

Storing

  • Storing: Store leftover steak fajitas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For the best quality, keep the steak, vegetables, and toppings separate.
  • Reheating: To reheat, place the steak and veggies in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through. Alternatively, use the air fryer at 350°F for 4-5 minutes to retain the crispy texture.
