How To Make Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta

Step One: In a skillet, brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step Two: Spray the crockpot with nonstick spray. Add a layer of marinara sauce, then half of the cooked beef, followed by uncooked pasta.

Step Three: Mix cream cheese and ricotta together in a bowl. Spread half of the mixture over the pasta layer, then sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
Step Four: Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until the pasta is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with extra parmesan or fresh basil. Serve warm and enjoy your creamy, cheesy crockpot pasta!

Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta Recipe Tips
- Brown the Meat First: Cooking the ground beef before adding it to the crockpot enhances flavor and removes excess fat.
- Spray the Crockpot: Nonstick spray prevents the pasta and cheese from sticking to the bottom.
- Layer Evenly: Alternate layers of sauce, pasta, beef, and cheese for consistent flavor and creaminess throughout.
- Use Low or High Wisely: Cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours to ensure pasta is tender without overcooking.
- Cheese Mix: Combining cream cheese and ricotta before layering ensures a creamy, rich texture.
- Garnish Last: Add fresh parmesan or basil just before serving to maintain flavor and color.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Store leftover pasta in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave until warmed through.
- Freezing: Cool the pasta completely, then transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
- Reheating: Reheat in the microwave or in a covered skillet over low heat until warmed through. Add a splash of marinara or milk if the pasta seems dry to restore creaminess.

Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta Recipe Faqs
Can I use a different type of pasta? Yes! Penne, rigatoni, or even rotini work well. Just ensure the pasta is uncooked before layering in the crockpot.
Can I make this recipe ahead of time? Absolutely. Assemble the layers in the crockpot the night before, refrigerate, and cook the next day—adding extra cook time if starting from cold.
Can I use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef?
Yes, lean ground turkey or chicken works as a healthier alternative, though it may require a slightly shorter cook time.
Can I make this vegetarian? Skip the meat and add extra vegetables like mushrooms, zucchini, or spinach. Consider using a meatless protein or extra beans for heartiness.
How can I make it extra cheesy? Add more mozzarella or parmesan, or stir in shredded cheddar for extra cheesy goodness.
Can I double this recipe for a larger crowd? Yes! Use a larger crockpot or cook in two batches. Adjust cooking time as needed to ensure the pasta cooks evenly.
