Pro Tips:

Ground Beef: I used lean ground beef, but you can substitute it for ground chicken, ground turkey, or even ground bison.

If you do not use lean ground beef, you will need to drain the meat.

Baking Pan: Use a baking pan, which will be easier to clean than putting ground beef directly in your air fryer.

Stirring: For best results, stir and break up your meat as it cooks up. This way, the entire batch of meat cooks up.

Cooking Time: Depending on what type of ground beef you use, the cooking time will be about 8 to 10 minutes. Remember to cook your ground beef until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. One of the best air fryer accessories you can own is a meat thermometer, and it will ensure that you cook your proteins to perfection.

Can I Use Different Chips For Walking Tacos?

The most common variety that everyone uses is Doritos Nacho Cheese; however, the great idea is to make a batch of assorted Doritos, such as Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch Doritos, and you can even use Fritos.

If you are looking for a gluten-free air fryer recipe, this is one of my favorites. You can also make this Keto and low-carb friendly, but you will have to choose a different type of chip.
