How To Make Easy Air Fryer Waffle Bowl Recipe

Start by making your waffle mix, as directed on the box.

Step One: Prepare the waffle batter according to the package instructions until smooth and ready to cook.

Step Two: Lightly spray your waffle mold with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray. For easier handling, place the mold directly on a baking sheet before filling to prevent spills while moving it.

Step Three: Place the tray in the air fryer and cook at 330°F for 4 minutes. Check after 4 minutes and add an additional 3-4 minutes if needed. Carefully transfer the waffle to a muffin tin to cool; it will harden into a bowl shape as it cools.

  • Spray the Mold Well: Lightly coat your waffle mold with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
  • Use a Baking Sheet: Place the mold on a baking sheet for easy transfer in and out of the air fryer.
  • Check Cooking Time: Air fryer models vary-start with the recommended time and add extra minutes if needed.
  • Cool Completely: Allow waffle bowls to cool fully in the muffin tin so they hold their shape.

Description

Ingredients 

  • 1 batch 1 batch of Waffle mix prepared
  • ingredients needed for waffle mix above
  • 1/2 cup toppings, assorted

Instructions

  • Start by making your waffle mix, as directed on the box.
  • Then spray your mold with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
  • Fill your mold (I found it easier after my 1st batch) to put the mold directly on the baking sheet, so it wouldn’t spill while moving it.
  • Put the tray into the air fryer oven, and set the temperature to 330 degrees F for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, check and add about 3-4 minutes more.
  • Transfer and flip over a muffin tin. When it cools, it will harden to a bowl form.
