How To Make Easy Air Fryer Waffle Bowl Recipe

Step One: Prepare the waffle batter according to the package instructions until smooth and ready to cook.

Step Two: Lightly spray your waffle mold with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray. For easier handling, place the mold directly on a baking sheet before filling to prevent spills while moving it.

Step Three: Place the tray in the air fryer and cook at 330°F for 4 minutes. Check after 4 minutes and add an additional 3-4 minutes if needed. Carefully transfer the waffle to a muffin tin to cool; it will harden into a bowl shape as it cools.

Easy Air Fryer Waffle Bowl Recipe Tips
- Spray the Mold Well: Lightly coat your waffle mold with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
- Use a Baking Sheet: Place the mold on a baking sheet for easy transfer in and out of the air fryer.
- Check Cooking Time: Air fryer models vary-start with the recommended time and add extra minutes if needed.
- Cool Completely: Allow waffle bowls to cool fully in the muffin tin so they hold their shape.
- Customize Toppings: Fill with ice cream, whipped cream, fruit, chocolate, or caramel for variety.
Storing, Freezing and Make Ahead Instructions
- Storing: Keep cooled waffle bowls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days to maintain crispness.
- Freezing: Store waffle bowls in a single layer in a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month. Re-crisp in the air fryer for a few minutes before serving.
- Make-Ahead: You can bake waffle bowls in advance and store them as above. Fill them just before serving to keep them crispy.
