- Granulated Sugar

Cream together the butter, salt, and sugar in a large bowl mix well, and fold in your eggs, buttermilk, and pure vanilla extract. Mix well, then slowly fold in your all-purpose flour and baking powder. Mix well, scrape the sides, continue to mix until your dough forms.
