Air Fryer Salsa Verde Recipe Tips

  • Roast for Maximum Flavor: Air fry tomatillos and peppers until slightly charred for a deeper, smoky taste.
  • Don’t Skip Peeling: Remove husks from tomatillos—they can be bitter if left on.
  • Adjust Heat Carefully: Start with fewer peppers; you can always add more after blending.
  • Blend While Warm: Warm roasted veggies blend more easily and release extra flavor.
  • Citrus Last: Add lime juice after blending to preserve its bright, fresh flavor.
  • Salt Gradually: Season in stages—start light, then taste and adjust at the end.
  • Storage Tip: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for longer.
