What Is Quiche?
I looked up the history of the Quiche and was surprised to find out that it is actually a German dish – even though it is so popular in French cuisine – the Quiche Lorraine was where it all began, consisting of an open pie with egg, cream custard, and bacon.
I love to serve this Cheese and Spinach Quiche at lunchtime (or Brunch) with a salad on the side. It’s light but filling enough to see you through to your next meal.
