While today I used a simple recipe for Air Fryer Spinach and Cheese Quiche, you can really change out this for numerous combinations.

I grew up eating Quiche. It’s such an easy dish to throw together and my mother always had eggs at home so I had many strange varieties as she was trying to use leftovers.

My favorite has always been Quiche with spinach in it. The taste of spinach and cheese together really does it for me. Add to that, that this is the BEST pastry you’ll have ever tasted, making it perfect on a plate.

The English mustard, cheese, and paprika in the crust give this recipe an edge over most Quiches.

What Is Quiche?

I looked up the history of the Quiche and was surprised to find out that it is actually a German dish – even though it is so popular in French cuisine – the Quiche Lorraine was where it all began, consisting of an open pie with egg, cream custard, and bacon.

I love to serve this Cheese and Spinach Quiche at lunchtime (or Brunch) with a salad on the side. It’s light but filling enough to see you through to your next meal.
