How To Make Air Fryer Sloppy Joe Cups

Pressing biscuit dough into a sprayed muffin tin to create small cups for air frying.

Step One: Start by spraying your air muffin tin with cooking spray. Then add your biscuit dough, being careful to press the dough into the sides so that you create a cup.

Step Two: Place your muffin tin into the air fryer basket and set the air fryer temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set cook time for about 5 to 8 minutes, until they are golden brown.

Air Fryer Sloppy Joe Cups Recipe Tips

  • Biscuits: For best results, use refrigerated biscuits for this recipe to fill the biscuit cup. You can make the filling and then fill the cup, but I have found that the cup will not cook on the bottom: So, for best results and a great snack, bake the cups separately.
  • Filling: You can use either Original Manwich or Thick and Chunky. Either will work. You can also make these with canned or homemade chili. The recipe will remain the same. That would be an excellent option for gameday.
  • Cheese: You can either use shredded cheddar cheese or even Velveeta Cheese. Either will melt amazingly. I love to use Velveeta if I change the recipe to chili. It’s a great cheesy taste.
