What Are Phyllo Cups?

Found in most American Grocery stores’ freezer sections, they are characterized by a flaky exterior made of phyllo.

The best part about them is that you do not have to shape them with the phyllo sheets yourself since they are already done for you.

I do like to brush them with butter, before placing them into the air fryer, so that they crisp up beautifully.

What is Hummus?

The other main ingredient in these Air Fryer Hummus Phyllo Cups is hummus. If you are not familiar with hummus, hummus is made from chickpeas.

With a combination of chickpeas, sesame paste (or tahini), minced garlic, and olive oil. It’s a true Middle Eastern dish.

There are so many different store brands with many different flavors. For this recipe, choose your favorite.
