I recently stocked up on chicken thighs, when they were 99 cents a pound, and I have been playing around with seasoning them. This is a GREAT budget-friendly meal, and it’s really easy to make and very flavorful.
Here are the steps, so you can make it in your very own air fryer,
Start by seasoning the chicken with salt and pepper.
In a small bow (large enough for the chicken) scoop the pesto into it, add the olive oil, and then place the chicken thighs.
Place the covered thighs, into the air fryer, set the temperature to 350 degrees F, for 7 minutes. (air fryer setting) After 7 minutes, spoon some of the sauce over the chicken thighs and air fry for another 7 minutes. Check the chicken’s internal temperature which should read at least 165 degrees F. If it is not fully cooked add it back for another 5 minutes.
