How To Make Air Fryer Homemade Pot Stickers

Start by preparing the cabbage. Dice the cabbage, and then add about a teaspoon of salt, mix well. And then let sit for about 15 to 20 minutes until some of the moisture is drained out. Use a paper towel to soak up the rest of the water.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix the ground pork, minced garlic, minced ginger, diced mushrooms, diced scallions, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and mix well.

Place the wonton wrapper on a flat surface, and then fill about 1/2 tablespoon to 1 tablespoon filling in the center.
Use your finger and run it along the edge with water, and then fold it up. Repeat until you used all of your filling up.
Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees F, air fryer setting. Spray your basket with cooking spray, and place your potstickers inside the basket. Set the temperature for 5 minutes, flip, and air fry for another 5-7 minutes.
Note: In order for the wontons to crisp up, spray them generously with cooking spray.

Some Common Questions Asked About This Recipe-
Where Do You Find Dumpling Wrappers?
They are located in the produce market at your local grocery store. They are usually located near the tofu.
Can I Use Wonton Wrappers For Potstickers?
Yes, if you can not find dumpling wrappers, then use wonton wrappers. What you want to do is make circles out of them. I would recommend between 3 and 4-inch circles.
You can either use a pizza cutter to cut the circles out or pick up one of the dumpling cutters off Amazon (affiliate link). I use this one, which is nice because it seals it and makes the pretty edges.
As you cut them, remember to keep them moist because they will dry out rather quickly, so leave them in the plastic sealed bag as you use them.
Some Pro Tips For Making Air Fryer Homemade Potstickers
- Do not overfill the potstickers; you really want to be able to seal it well. Otherwise, the contents will end up in the air fryer basket.
- Do not crowd your air fryer basket; they will end up being unevenly cooked; for best results, leave room around the potstickers for the air to flow freely.
- Check and make sure they are crisped up. Since all air fryers cook at different times, it’s best to really check your potstickers halfway during the cooking process for the best results.
What Are Some Dipping Sauces For Potickers?
While you can serve these with any dipping sauces, here are some of my favorites (affiliate links included)
