Alternatively, use a stand mixer to mix the ingredients at a low speed until making a dough. Place the dough in the bowl. Cover it with baking paper and then wrap the bowl with 1-2 kitchen towels. Leave it in a warm place for about 1,5 h. The dough should almost double its size.

Roll the dough on a parchment paper sheet, making a rectangular shape (or as rectangular as possible), about 1/2 inch thick. Spread the filling evenly on top of the rectangular.

Some Pro Tips For Making Air Fryer Homemade Cinnamon Rolls {Cinnabon Copycat}

  • The air fryer rolls would become a bit browner on top than those baked in the oven: that is ok. Check the bottoms for doneness as they would take more time to get baked.
  • You can invert the rolls during the baking if you see that the tops are too dark and the bottoms still unbaked.
  • Store the leftovers in airtight containers at room temperature for 2-3 days. Ideally, before serving, reheat them in a microwave for 1 minute at medium power.

Can You Make Cinnamon Rolls In An Air Fryer?

Whether homemade or a package of Pillsbury, they are so easy to make in the air fryer. Here is one of my first recipes for making a package of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls In The Air Fryer.

How Long To Cook Cinnamon Rolls In Air Fryer

As with most air fryer recipes, the exact time will depend on which air fryer you own. If you find that the cinnamon rolls are getting too brown, add a piece of foil on top. Or you can quickly flip them so the bottom becomes as browned as the top.

In any case, they will become browner than a batch in the oven because the heat source is directly on top.

HOW LONG DO HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS LAST?

Homemade Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls last between 2 to 3 days.

Any longer than that, they become crusty and start to dry out. If you do not finish them in 3 days, place them into the refrigerator.

How To Reheat Cinnabon

Cooks are always looking for ways to make their lives easier in the kitchen. One way to do that is to learn how to reheat cinnamon rolls so you can have fresh, delicious cinnamon rolls any time you want them!

Place them into the microwave, and heat for 30 seconds, then brush with butter, and heat for another 30 seconds! Warm, moist and delicious!

HOW DO YOU STORE HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS?

I place them into a freezer bag or an airtight container. Getting rid of the air is essential if you want to keep them as fresh as possible.

If you make the dough and want to make a few each day, you place the unused dough into an airtight container over a couple of days. It will last a few days.

HOW DO YOU MAKE HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS IN THE OVEN?

You want to make them, make them per the recipe directions, and then place them into a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, at about 350 degrees F.
