  • Butter
  • Cream Cheese
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Heavy Cream
  • Eggs
  • Rainbow Sprinkles
  • Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Whipping Cream

How To Make Air Fryer Funfetti Cheesecake

Air Fryer Funfetti Cheesecake

Crust:

Line a 7-inch springform pan with a circle of parchment paper. Wrap the outside with two sheets of aluminum foil to avoid leakage.

Optionally grease the sides and line them with parchment paper too. 

In a bowl, mix the cookie crumbs and the melted butter. Press the mixture onto the bottom of the prepared pan. Place the pan in the fridge while preparing the filling.

Filling:

Place the cream cheese, the powdered sugar, the heavy cream, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for 30-60 seconds, until creamy.

Add the eggs and beat at a lower speed for about 30 seconds until combined. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the rainbow sprinkles until evenly distributed in the batter.

Pour the filling over the crust in the pan. Place the pan in the air fryer basket. Bake for 10 minutes at 320 degrees F and then for about 25 minutes at 300 degrees F. The cheesecake is ready when the top is set, and there are no jiggling parts.  Allow the cheesecake to cool until room temperature, and then cover the pan with aluminum foil. Refrigerate it for 6-8 hours or overnight.

Decoration:

Whip the cold cream with powdered sugar. Use a piping bag with a star tip to pipe on the cheesecake. Sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles.

Recipe Notes:

Room Temperature Ingredients: Make sure the eggs, the cream, and the cream cheese are all at room temperature before preparing the cheesecake. Remove them from the fridge 30-40 minutes in advance.

Beating: MIx the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until it’s smooth. It’s one of the keys to making a GREAT cheesecake. Keep on mixing and scraping the sides until it is creamy.

Substitutions For Crust: If you do not want to use graham crackers, you can easily make this with a sugar crust, I have used vanilla wafers in the past, and they were delicious.

If you want to make this gluten-free, you can easily use Gluten-Free Graham Crackers, and if you want to make this Keto or low-carb friendly, use low-carb graham crackers.

Set: Be careful not to overcook your cheesecake. Once set in the middle, remove it from the air fryer. It will firm up even more when you refrigerate it.

Why Does My Cheesecake Have Cracks?

Cheesecake is a delicious dessert that many people can enjoy. However, there are times when cheesecake can disappoint.

One of the most common problems with cheesecake is when it splits and cracks. So, what causes this to happen, and how can you prevent it?

The reason that most cheesecakes crack is that the temperature is too high, and as a result, the edges start to cook. So, it’s way better to make cheesecakes in the air fryer at a low temperature so that it cooks uniformly throughout.

Another reason why cheesecake cracks are that the cheesecake is overcooked. So, once the center is set, please remove it. Since every air fryer is slightly different, check on your cheesecake frequently during the cooking process.

How To Garnish Cheesecakes

What Pan To Use In The Air Fryer:

For this pan, I would highly recommend using a Springform pan, depending on the size of your air fryer. You will make either 1 or 2 cheesecakes from this recipe.
