How to Make Easy Air Fryer Pickle Egg Rolls

Step One: Start by draining the pickles on a paper towel. This way, your egg rolls are not soggy.

Step Two: Lay down an egg roll wrapper and place a slice of cheese in the center, followed by the drained pickle spear. Wrap up tightly. Use water to seal the edges.

Step Three: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, and then place your egg rolls into the basket. Spray them generously with cooking spray; this will help them crisp up. Set the air fryer temperature to 360 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set cook time for 6-10 minutes, flipping and spraying at the halfway point. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce!

Easy Air Fryer Pickle Egg Rolls Recipe Tips
- Dry the pickles well: Excess moisture makes the egg rolls soggy. Pat pickles completely dry before wrapping.
- Seal the edges properly: Use a little water on the wrapper edges to ensure they don’t open while cooking.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket: Air needs to circulate for maximum crispiness. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Spray for extra crisp: Lightly coat egg rolls with cooking spray before and halfway through cooking.
- Adjust spice level: Mix more or less Sriracha into your dipping sauce depending on your heat preference.
- Serve immediately: These are best hot and crispy straight from the air fryer; leftovers can soften if stored.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions
- Storing Instructions: Store leftover pickle egg rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep them separate from any dipping sauces to prevent sogginess.
- Freezing Instructions: Arrange uncooked, wrapped egg rolls on a baking sheet and freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag. They can be frozen for up to 2 months and cooked straight from frozen.
- Reheating Instructions: Reheat refrigerated or frozen egg rolls in the air fryer at 360°F for 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway for even crispiness. Avoid microwaving, as it will make them soft instead of crunchy.

Hi Everyone !!!
Have been looking for an easy air fryer pickle recipe for a while and they all suck for one reason or another (too many steps, breading/batter coming off, high effort to reward ratio). This recipe is amazing. Using wonton wrappers instead of dredging, breading etc and the addition of cheese makes it the best I have tried. Thanks !!!
