How To Make Crispy Air Fryer Tofu (How to Make Crispy Tofu)
Start by pressing the water out of the Tofu, I put one of my cast iron pans on top. Left for about 20 minutes.
Cut the tofu into cubes, about 1 inch by 1-inch pieces.
Place the tofu in a medium mixing bowl. Add all of the ingredients and let marinate for about 20 minutes.
Place them on the air fryer tray, spread out (or in the basket) Set the temperature to 370 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 14 to 18 minutes.
For best results, purchase extra firm tofu.
Do not purchase silken tofu, which will fall apart during the cooking process.
Do not crowd the air fryer basket; you need the hot air circulating between the tofu, so it perfectly crisps up!
Check your tofu during the cooking process. Since all air fryers are slightly different, the timing may vary by a few minutes.
Press your tofu until you are no longer getting liquid from it. This will ensure a batch of Crispy Air Fryer Tofu.
