Air Fryer Cinnamon Crumb Donuts

This morning, I started by making these really easy “baked donuts.”For years, I have been making them in my oven, they take almost like a mini coffee cake, and the air fryer does a really great job at making them both moist and fluffy. So if you like coffee cake, this is a perfect donut for you.

Donut Batter:

  • 1 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup flour

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Then add the buttermilk and milk. Add in the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mix well.
  3. Grease the donut pan with olive oil spray, and then fill the cavity about 2/3 the way full with the batter.
  4. In another bowl, mix the topping, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, butter, and flour, mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping onto the base batter. Set the donut pan into the air fryer at 320 degrees F for 12 minutes.
  5. Plate, serve, and enjoy!
