Yummy, nothing like a good Air Fryer Cajun Turkey Leg for dinner; I mean, who doesn’t love turkey legs? One of the easiest and tastiest dinners you will ever make, and they are so kid-friendly. This is a real show stopper. Do you remember the mid-evil or Renaissance festivals, where they serve these up? Today, I replicated a family favorite in my air fryer. Check the meat aisle; these are really popular in the fall, and they become such a bargain after Thanksgiving, so it’s a great time to stock up.
There is nothing better than a roasted turkey leg, and now you don’t have to even wait for Thanksgiving anymore. You can just air fry them, any time.
The Ingredients You Will Need

How to Air Fry Turkey Legs
Here are the step by step instructions for you to make it in your own home (in your own air fryer)
These are the turkey legs I used in this recipe., found in the meat aisle at any supermarket.
Coat the turkey legs with the cajun spice blend. I added the one I used to the items used at the bottom of this post. The Cajun spice blend I have been using ever since I got married has always been good.
Use your hands and really rub the spice on. Place the coated turkey legs into the air fryer oven or in the air fryer basket.
Set the temperature to 400 degrees for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, flip the turkey legs and air fry for another 10 minutes. Check the turkey legs’ internal temperature, which should be at 180 F. If it is anything less than 180 degrees F, add additional time; each air fryer is different, so make sure that you use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
Plate, serve, and enjoy!
How to Serve Air Fryer Turkey Legs
Do not wait for Thanksgiving to make these, although if you are only cooking for one, this makes a great alternative to a full-size turkey.
How to Store Leftovers
I will often make more than I plan on serving that night; turkey legs make an amazing leftover lunch. Just place the leftovers in an airtight container, they will stay good for about 3 days. To reheat, pop them into the microwave or air fry to reheat.
