Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs,
- 1/2 lemon, quartered
- 4-6 fresh thyme sprigs
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices bacon slices, or prosciutto
- 2 tablespoons honey, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer temperature to 375 degrees F or 190 C, for 3-5 minutes.
- Wash and pat dry 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
- In a medium bowl, add chicken thighs with 1/2 lemon. Season with 4-6 fresh thyme sprigs, 2 teaspoons dried oregano 2 cloves garlic, 1 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Cover with foil and marinade for 10 minutes.
- Remove foil and wrap each thigh with 4 slices bacon slices.
- Place in the air fryer basket with quartered lemon and set cook time for 15-20 minutes. Flip halfway during the cooking process, and drizzle the chicken thighs with 2 tablespoons honey
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
