Recipe Notes:

  • Shapes: Cut the shape of Cinnastix, and roll out pizza dough to a 10 by 12 inches rectangle. Then cut one side into eighth sections and the other sides into 8 equal pieces for a total of 16 individual treats!
  • Butter: Unsalted butter is used for best results. Margarine. is not the same for this recipe.
  • Dipping Sauce: I included the recipe that the Cinnastix is served with, but you can easily serve these with chocolate, caramel, or a cream cheese dipping sauce.

Domino’s Cinnastix Recipe Tips

  • Use Room Temperature Dough: Allow your pizza dough to come to room temperature before rolling it out. This makes it easier to work with and helps achieve a better texture.
  • Even Thickness: Roll out the dough evenly to ensure that the Cinnastix cook uniformly. Uneven thickness can lead to some pieces being overcooked while others are undercooked.
  • Butter Application: For the best flavor, brush the melted butter generously on the dough. This not only adds flavor but also helps the cinnamon sugar mixture adhere better.
  • Cinnamon Sugar Mix: Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl before sprinkling over the buttered dough. This ensures an even distribution of flavor.
  • Air Fryer Basket: Don’t overcrowd the Air Fryer basket. Leave space between the Cinnastix strips to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy on all sides.
  • Check Doneness: Since air fryers vary, keep an eye on the Cinnastix towards the end of the cooking time to avoid burning. They should be golden brown and crispy.
  • Cooling Time: Allow the Cinnastix to cool slightly before serving. This helps the coating set and enhances the flavor.
