Expert Tips and Tricks

  • I suggest allowing the pork to rest for 5 minutes after it comes out of the air fryer before you start slicing it. This will keep the juices inside longer and ensure the most flavor!
  • Instead of garlic powder, you can also use two cloves of freshly minced garlic
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer and pork tenderloin, you might need to cut it in half and cook it in two separate pieces.
  • If you only have regular paprika, go ahead and use that instead. The smoked paprika adds a slightly different flavor, but the pork will taste good either way.
  • If you do not have an airfryer, this pork tenderloin can be cooked in the oven at 350°F for 35-40 minutes, or until cooked throughout!

Storing and Reheating Instructions

Easy Ninja Foodi Pork Tenderloin Recipe Faqs

Do I need to marinate the pork tenderloin? Nope! You will not have to worry about marinating the pork tenderloin beforehand. The seasonings will add plenty of flavor to the tenderloin, and cooking in the air fryer keeps the pork tender and juicy. Although you do not need to marinate the meat, you can if you prefer a different flavor or seasoning! Most grocery stores sell marinated pork tenderloins, so you can also grab one of those and throw it right into the Ninja Foodi with no extra work.

How long does pork tenderloin need to cook in the air fryer? Cooking pork tenderloin takes much less time in the air fryer than in the oven! For a pork tenderloin that is about 2 pounds, it should take around 14 minutes to cook. The time might differ depending on the size of tenderloin that you have. It is important to check the internal temperature of the pork to know when it is done cooking! Use a meat thermometer and make sure the temperature is 145°F before removing it from the air fryer.

Can I use frozen pork tenderloin? Definitely! You can use a frozen pork tenderloin if that is what you have on hand, and it will turn out just as great. Rather than cooking it straight from the freezer, you will want to defrost and then season the pork first. Be sure to safely thaw the meat either in the fridge overnight, or in an airtight bag submersed in water. You will then be able to pat the meat dry and cover it with oil and seasonings. Cook it as usual and you are all set!
