How to Make Ninja Foodi Chicken Egg Roll Bowls

Step One: Turn on your Ninja Foodi saute function and add the ground chicken, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the middle.

Step Two: Add the soy sauce, chicken broth, and cabbage. Stir the mixture frequently and allow it to cool until the cabbage has softened.

Expert Tips and Tricks
- Instead of ground chicken, you can also use ground turkey, beef, or pork in this recipe if that is what you have on hand!
- For a gluten-free option, you can substitute the soy sauce with coconut aminos. The dish will taste exactly the same!
- As the ground chicken is cooking, be sure to break it up into smaller pieces with a meat chopper or spatula.
- To give your egg roll bowls some extra flavor, add a tablespoon of rice vinegar to your dish at the same time that you add the soy sauce and cabbage.
Storing
- Storing: You can store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container. Be sure to allow the dish to cool completely before placing it in the fridge.
- Reheating: To reheat, place a bowl of the leftovers in the microwave for about 45 seconds, stirring halfway through. You can add 30 seconds as needed until the food is warmed to your liking!

What To Serve With Ninja Foodi Chicken Egg Roll Bowls
Chicken egg roll bowls are a balanced and hardy dish on their own, but we still love to add some rice noodles, brown rice, or white rice to help the dish come together.
Before serving, you can garnish your egg roll bowls with finely chopped green onions or chives, or a quick sprinkle of sesame seeds for a finished look and flavor. To give your egg roll bowls some spice, you can also add some red chili paste, sriracha sauce, or red pepper flakes on top before serving!
Ninja Foodi Chicken Egg Roll Bowls Recipe Faqs
What is tri colored cabbage? Tri-color cabbage is a mix of red, green, and white cabbage. It is full of fiber, and has great nutritional benefits! Tri-color cabbage is typically used in coleslaw, tacos, and stir fry. You will most commonly find pre-shredded and packed tri-color cabbage with shredded carrots included. We recommend using this blend to add extra veggies to your dish! If you cannot get a hold of that specific blend, you can add ½ cup of shredded carrots to your cabbage.
How can I prevent the cabbage from becoming soggy? It can be tricky to cook the cabbage to get the proper texture. Before you add the cabbage into the Ninja Foodi, ensure that it is completely dry. This will prevent any excess moisture that can cause the cabbage to become soggy while it cooks. The other step you can take to prevent the cabbage from getting soggy is not to overcook it. Since it is shredded, it will only take about 10 minutes to soften. Once the cabbage has softened enough, remove it from the heat immediately. The cabbage will still have a slight crunch, but it should also be tender enough to bite easily.
