Ninja Foodi Boxed Macaroni and Cheese

Ninja Foodi Boxed Macaroni and Cheese-This is an amazing recipe, literally so easy that my 15-year-old does it all of the time. After all, who likes standing over a pot-stirring?

If you have not made Instant Pot Mac and Cheese, I encourage all of you to try it. The next time your kids as you for this, this is so easy. I have been making Instant Pot Mac and Cheese for years today; my son and I tried it out in the Ninja Foodi! Easy as Pie!

I have never met a person who passed on a giant bowl of Kraft Mac & Cheese, so yummy!

What is A Ninja Foodi?

This year, a Ninja Foodi is so popular because it combines two appliances: the Pressure Cooker and an Air Fryer. It is very much like the new Instant Pot Lid, it changes out the lid, for each function, one lid for the Pressure Cooker and one lid for the Air Fryer.

This is the Air Fryer I used in this recipe–(affiliate link)

How Do You Make Boxed Macaroni And Cheese in The Ninja Foodi?

  • Set the manual high pressure for 3 minutes.
  • Do a quick release when the time is up.
  • Drain if you have excess water.

Do You Natural Release Or Quick Release Instant Pot

I have found that doing a quick release is much better for any pasta dish. The longer that you let the pasta sit in the water, the gummier it becomes.

For best results, do a quick release. The longer the pasta sits in water after the pressure cooking has done, the softer it becomes.

Does This Work For Liquid Cheese Macaroni And Cheese

I tried making this with Velveeta with Liquid Cheese, and it worked about the same. The most important thing for that recipe is to continue stirring until the cheese is melted.

Ways to Dress Up Boxed Mac and Cheese

This is a great meal by itself, but it’s really popular to add other items into macaroni and cheese, here are some of my kid’s favorites:

  • Diced Hot Dogs
  • Tuna and Peas
  • Ham
  • Cooked Ground Beef

How to Store Leftover Mac and Cheese

If you have any leftovers, let the macaroni and cheese cool to room temperature. Then place the leftovers into an airtight container.

Set the container into the refrigerator. It will last between 2 to 3 days. To reheat, either place in the microwave or use a small pan on the stove.
