Tips For Making The Best Dish Of Instant Pot Chicken Fried Rice-
1. Rinse The Rice: This will help remove a lot of the starch, which will help your rice dish not all clump together, during the Instant Pot Process.
2. Use either basmati rice, jasmine rice, or long-grain white rice. This is one dish that you really want to avoid using brown rice since it takes longer to pressure cook brown rice.
4. Add Enough Liquid: Make sure that the rice is underneath the water before you start to pressure cook, otherwise, your rice will dry out.

Made this tonight with regular white rice as I didn’t have Basmati on hand and wasn’t making another trip to the grocery store. It worked just fine and I added about an extra 1/4 chicken stock. Turned out great! I did mix everything and spent about 5 minutes frying the rice in a saute pan after finished to have the right consistency.
How much rice goes into this?
Thanks.
1 cup
I was surprised when I read this to add frozen veggies at the last…making it now. Hoping for the best! 🙂
Yes, just keep on mixing until they are hot, they take a very short time to thaw, just the heat from the dish.
