How To Make Easy Air Fryer Breakfast Tortillas
Below are the simple steps to make this delicious batch of breakfast tortillas in your air fryer.

In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with a fork. Add half of the eggs in a non-stick pan and place a tortilla on top of the egg. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes or until the eggs are cooked.

Place the tortilla with the egg side up on top of a cutting board. With a knife, cut a line starting in the middle. On the lower left quarter, add the mayonnaise.

Chop the iceberg lettuce and place it in the upper quarter. Add tomato slices (1 or 2) on the other right quarter. In the last quarter, add the cheese.

Starting with the quarter where you spread the mayo, fold it over the iceberg lettuce quarter. Then, fold it up on top of the tomato slices.
Finally, fold it over the cheese quarter.
You used to cook the egg skillet over medium heat in the same skillet, add the tortilla wrap, cook until it gets crispy, and flip it once (about 3 minutes per side). Repeat the same steps to make the second breakfast tortilla.

Pro Tips For Air Fryer Breakfast Tortillas
Here are some pro tips for making delicious Air Fryer Breakfast Tortillas:
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Just like with an oven, it’s important to preheat your air fryer. This ensures that your tortillas cook evenly and have a crispy texture.
- Use Parchment Paper: To prevent the tortillas from sticking to the basket, consider using parchment paper or air fryer liners. This also makes cleanup easier.
- Don’t Overstuff: While adding lots of fillings is tempting, be mindful not to overstuff your tortillas. Overfilling can lead to difficulty in folding and uneven cooking.
- Layer Ingredients: Layer your ingredients strategically. Start with cheese or other ingredients that can be a barrier between the tortilla and any moisture (e.g., scrambled eggs). This helps keep the tortilla from getting soggy.
- Fold and Seal: When folding your tortillas, fold them tightly to prevent the fillings from spilling out during cooking. If needed, use toothpicks or cooking twine to secure the folds.
- Brush with Oil: For extra crispiness and a golden-brown finish, lightly brush the tortillas with a small amount of oil before air frying.
- Use Different Fillings: Get creative with your fillings! Try different combinations of eggs, cheese, vegetables, cooked bacon or sausage, and even salsa or hot sauce for added flavor.
- Monitor Cooking Time: Keep a close eye on the cooking time, as air fryer temperatures vary. It’s better to check the tortillas several times to prevent burning.
- Serve with Sides: Air Fryer Breakfast Tortillas are great on their own, but they can also be served with sides like salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for a complete breakfast experience.
- Make Ahead: If you’re short on time in the morning, you can prepare the tortilla fillings the night before. In the morning, assemble and air fry for a quick and satisfying breakfast.
By following these pro tips, you’ll be well on your way to making perfectly crispy and delicious Air Fryer Breakfast Tortillas that will surely be a hit with your family and friends.
