How To Make Air Fryer White Chocolate Chip Lemon Cookies

Step One: Start by mixing the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, & salt) together in a large bowl.

Step Two: In a separate bowl combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Mix on low with a hand mixer until creamy.

Step Three: Add the lemon extract, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix well. Slowly add the flour mixture. Mix well. Using a spatula fold in the white chocolate chips.

Step Four: Cover and refrigerate the dough for 20-30 minutes. Preheat the air fryer temperature to 300 degrees F, for 3-5 minutes.
Step Five: Remove dough from the fridge. Line the air fryer basket with a piece of parchment paper. Scoop 4-6 balls of dough and place them in your basket on the parchment paper making sure to leave an inch or so in between them so they have room while they bake.
Step Six: Set cook time for 8-10 minutes. Cookies should be a light golden brown. Allow them to cool for a few minutes then move them to a cookie rack until completely cool. Sprinkle a little confectioners sugar on top and lemon zest if you wish (optional).

Air Fryer White Chocolate Chip Lemon Cookies Recipe Tips
- Chill the dough – Refrigerating the dough for 10–15 minutes helps prevent cookies from spreading too much in the air fryer.
- Don’t overcrowd – Leave space between dough balls so they bake evenly and maintain shape.
- Use parchment paper – Prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.
- Adjust cook time for size – Larger cookies may need an extra minute or two; smaller cookies cook faster.
- Optional zest – Add fresh lemon zest to the dough for an extra punch of citrus flavor.
Storing Instructions
- Room Temperature: Store cooled cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Refrigerator: Keep in a sealed container for up to 1 week; let come to room temperature before serving.
- Freezing: Freeze baked cookies in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature or warm in the air fryer for a few minutes.
- Reheating: Refresh cookies in the air fryer at 325°F for 2–3 minutes to bring back soft, chewy texture.

Air Fryer White Chocolate Chip Lemon Cookies Recipe Faqs
Can I use regular chocolate chips instead of white chocolate? Yes! Regular or even white-and-dark chocolate chips work, though white chocolate pairs best with the lemon flavor.
Do I need to chill the dough? It’s recommended. Chilling the dough for 10–15 minutes helps prevent cookies from spreading too much while baking.
Can I make these cookies larger or smaller? Absolutely. Just adjust the air fryer cooking time slightly—larger cookies need a minute or two longer, smaller cookies cook faster.
Can I make these without an air fryer? Yes, you can bake them in a preheated oven at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, keeping an eye on them to avoid overbaking.
How should I store leftovers? Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
Can I add extra lemon zest? Definitely! Adding fresh lemon zest to the dough will give a brighter, more pronounced citrus flavor.
