Are Trader Joe’s Chocolate Croissants Good?

I’ve been seeing Trader Joe’s chocolate croissants all over social media lately, and I’ve been curious to try them. Croissants are not typically my go-to pastry, but I thought I would give these a try. So, the other day when I was at TJ’s, I picked up a package of chocolate croissants.

They are truly amazing! They are light, flaky, and best of all, and you can keep them in your freezer until you get the urge for a hot and chocolate-filled croissant.

Do You Have To Let Trader Joe’s Chocolate Croissants Rise Overnight?

We’ve all been there. You get the perfect storm of cravings—for a chocolate croissant, specifically—and you head over to Trader Joe’s to pick some up. You get home, excited to indulge, but then you realize that there’s one more step before you can enjoy: they need to rise overnight. Do you have to wait that long? The answer is yes!

The time overnight will allow the croissants to rise fully. So, grease up a baking sheet, add them on, and cover and let them grow overnight.

How Long Do You Cook Trader Joe’s Chocolate Croissants?

If you’re looking for an easy and delicious dessert, Trader Joe’s chocolate croissants are the way to go. But how long do you cook them? Keep reading for the answer.

To Cook In The Oven:

Follow the package’s directions and place the baking tray into a preheated oven at 350 degrees F, and cook at 20 to 25 minutes.

To Cook In The Air Fryer:

Place the croissants into the air fryer basket, lined with either a reusable air fryer silicone liner or a piece of parchment paper. Set the croissants on top and cook for 5 to 7 minutes at 320 degrees F, air fryer setting.

I brushed some melted butter on top to get them extra golden brown. You can eliminate the step.
