Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Pear Galette
- Pie Crust, Either Homemade or Store-Bought
- Pears
- Butter
How To Make Air Fryer Pear Galette
Spray your tart pan with cooking spray, and then place your dough into your pan.
Fill the center of the pie dough with sliced pears, they do better if they are thinner, and I added diced pears in the middle. (you can either peel or leave the peel on)
Fold the edges over. Using this pan makes it really easy. Place the butter scattered over the top. Place the tart into the air fryer basket or oven (if you use a smaller basket style or smaller oven). Just make individual galettes. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 15 to 20 minutes. (air fryer setting)
Make sure the Air Fryer Pear Galette is fully cooked before removing it.
Pro Tips:
- This recipe will work in any Air Fryer; however, you will need to find a pan that will fit your air fryer basket or oven.
- For best results, use a thin tart pan, allowing the middle to cook since it’s a thinner pan.
- You can either use peeled or unpeeled pears for this recipe. Either way, it works. I do prefer the look of the peels after cooking.
- Depending on what air fryer you are using, if the bottom is not cooking, add a piece of foil on top of the pears, and continue to cook until the bottom is cooked. This really depends on where the heating element is located.
What Is The Best Pan To Use For Air Fryer Pear Galette
I have made this several times in my air fryer, and I have found that this pan, a tart pan, will work the best. It’s available in many sizes, so find the size that will work with your air fryer.
You can also make it without a pan by using a piece of parchment paper to line your basket. (affiliate links below)
