Air Fryer, Three Ingredient Butter Pear Galette
This recipe is so easy, it would be a great idea during apple picking season to change it out with apples. The recipe would remain the same. I used prepared pie dough, which is found in the refrigerator section, but if you want to make your own pie dough. It would work the same.
Three ingredients and you are done, thank you to the air fryer, which really crisps this dessert up well.
Confession, the first one I made fell apart, while I was transferring it off of the air fryer tray and my husband and I had a late-night snack (which he said is fabulous, with our two forks in the air fryer tray eating it) He will be very happy tonight when he comes home and finds a new one!
Here are the step by step instructions,
I used this tart pan, which I used after I tried to transfer the galette from my air fryer tray to a plate, which promptly fell apart. So, I would suggest investing in one of these.
I filled the center of the pie dough with sliced pears, they do better if they are thinner, and in the middle, I added diced pears.
Fold the edges over. Using this pan makes it really easy.
Place the butter scattered over the top.
Place the tart into the air fryer basket or oven (if you are using a smaller basket style or smaller oven) just make individual galettes. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, for 20 minutes. (air fryer setting)
Plate, serve and enjoy!
