A rustic, free-form pear tart made with just three ingredients — pie crust, fresh pears, and butter — baked in the air fryer in 20 minutes. The easiest fall dessert you'll make all season.
Ingredients
1packagerefrigerated pie crust
4pears, firm (Bosc or Anjou preferred), thinly sliced, peeled or unpeeled
2tablespoonsunsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
Let the pie crust sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 3–5 minutes.
Spray a tart pan with cooking spray and press the dough in, letting the excess drape over the rim.
Arrange the sliced pears in the center, leaving about 1½ inches of bare crust around the edge.
Fold the bare edge up over the fruit, pleating as you go and leaving the center exposed. Scatter the butter pieces over the pears.
Air fry at 350°F for 15–20 minutes, until the crust is deep golden and the pears are tender. Check at 15 minutes.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
