Ingredients Needed

Ingredients needed for Air Fryer Pumpkin Spice Bundt Cake on kitchen table.
  • Spice Cake Mix: Use your favorite brand; I used Betty Crocker’s Super Moist Spice Cake Mix.
  • Canned Pumpkin: Use Pure 100% Pumpkin; I used Libby’s Canned Pure Pumpkin. Be careful not to purchase pumpkin pie filling, which is seasoned and sweetened.

How To Make Air Fryer Pumpkin Spice Bundt Cake

Mixing spice cake mix and canned pumpkin in a large bowl until smooth

Step One: Mix the spice cake mix and canned pumpkin in a large mixing bowl. Mix well, scraping down the sides to get the dry cake mix into the batter.

Spraying bundt pan and pouring pumpkin spice batter into pan

Step Two: Lightly coat your bundt pan with olive oil spray or non-stick cooking spray. Pour the batter into the pan—depending on its size, you may be able to make two mini Bundt cakes, but this will vary with your pan dimensions.

Step Three: Place the Bundt pan in the air fryer and cook at 320°F for 20-25 minutes using the air fry setting. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer and pan size, so continue until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Air Fryer Pumpkin Spice Bundt Cake Recipe Tips

  • Grease your pan well: Use non-stick spray or olive oil to ensure the cake releases easily.
  • Check doneness: Insert a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean when fully baked.
  • Adjust air fryer time: Depending on the size of your bundt pan and your air fryer, cooking time may need slight adjustments.
  • Avoid overmixing: Gently fold the pumpkin into the cake mix to keep the cake moist and tender.
  • Optional glaze or topping: Add a simple powdered sugar glaze or a drizzle of cream cheese frosting for extra flavor.

Storing Instructions

  • Room Temperature: Store the cooled cake in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Refrigerator: Keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
  • Freezer: Wrap the cooled cake tightly in plastic wrap and then in foil; freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
