This is such an easy recipe for Air Fryer Pork Schnitzel, a German way to prepare pork chops.
Typical pork schnitzel recipe is where the pork chops are pounded into thin pork cutlets and then breaded and fried, where you geta crispy pork cutlet dish.
Today, I made a simple Pork Schnitzel Air Fryer recipe, and it was fabulous, moist inside and crispy and delicious on the outside.
Air Fryer Pork Schnitzel
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless pork chops
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- Olive Oil Spray
Simple Directions:
- Start by pounding the pork cutlets with a kitchen mallet until they are about 1/4 to 1/8 thick.
- In a small mixing bowl, mix the bread crumbs, garlic salt, paprika, and black pepper.
- Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Then coat the pork cutlets with sour cream.
- Then Dip the pork cutlets in the bread crumb mixture. As you coat the bread crumbs, place them in the greased air fryer basket.
- Spray the bread crumbs with olive oil, coating the bread crumbs so they crisp up.
- Set the temperature to 400 degrees F for 5-7 minutes, flipping them halfway with a pair of tongs.
- Check the pork’s internal temperature before removing from the air fryer basket, using a meat thermometer.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
